Conservative commentator Calvin Robinson spoke to Express.co.uk about the current standing of the Labour Party under Sir Keir Starmer’s leadership. The Telegraph columnist highlighted Starmer is ideologically different from Jeremy Corbyn, he said: “Of course, Sir Starmer’s politics is different to Comrade Corbyn; the latter is a communist, the former is a centre-left moderate – and boy do his party hate him for it! The Labour Party has been infiltrated by extremist neo-Marxists who want to further alienate themselves from the British voting public.
“They needn’t worry, Sir Starmer is perfectly capable of doing that by himself, by signing up to the latest social justice warrior causes, he loves a bandwagon to jump on.”
Labour’s deputy party leader Angela Rayner was criticised last week at the Labour Party conference, after she reportedly said: “We cannot get any worse than a bunch of scum, homophobic, racist, misogynistic, absolute pile of banana republic, vile, nasty, Etonian, posh… piece of scum.”
However, Ms Rayner has refused to apologise for her comments. Calvin Robinson spoke about Sir Keir Starmer not making Angela Rayner apologise over her ‘Tory Scum’ remarks.
He told Express.co.uk: “Sir Keir Starmer has proven himself weak and feeble. Any leader worth his salt would have made Miss Rayner apologise and/or resign for such toxic, divisive comments.”
He added: “The British public tends to be socially conservative, yet our political parties are increasingly liberal. This is a problem for the Labour party, and it’ll become an ever-increasing issue for the Tories as we approach the next election.
“They got Brexit done, so they can no longer rely on that vote winner – it’s time for them to prove their worth.”
Sir Keir Starmer has recently also been criticised after being in favour of a woman taking over the 007 role from Daniel Craig.
The Labour leader told ITV’s Good Morning Britain: “I don’t have a favourite Bond but I do think it’s time for a female Bond.”

Ann Widdecombe, former Brexit Party MEP led the criticisms speaking on talkRADIO: “The man’s a complete idiot.
“James Bond is fun it is stylised masculinity, it is not toxic it is stylised.”
The remarks come in the wake of a new poll commissioned by The Times for September 28 to 29, which show the Tories remain ahead of their rivals.
Of the 1,833 people surveyed, 39 percent (467) said they favour them over Labour.
