Female teacher ‘had sex with foreign exchange student, 15, as husband watched’
A female teacher "had sex with a 15-year-old foreign exchange student in front of her husband," according to police in the United States.
Kimberly Wellman-Rich and Jeffery Paul Rich have been charged following accusations about their treatment of a 15-year-old boy staying at their Louisiana home.
An investigation was launched by police after being tipped off about the sick alleged actions of the Lafayette Parish School teacher last month.
In addition to sexual crimes, the twisted pair stand accused of allowing the 15-year-old to drink alcohol and giving him cannabis to smoke.
Wellman-Rich was charged with felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile, indecent behaviour with a juvenile, encouraging or contributing to child delinquency and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, KATC reports.
Her husband, Jeffery Paul Rich, was also charged with accessory after the fact to felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
Both have since been bonded out of jail.
The school system said in a statement: "The Lafayette Parish School System (LPSS) is aware of the allegations of inappropriate conduct by one of our employees.
"Allegations of this nature will continue to be taken very seriously and will be thoroughly investigated. Never will alleged inappropriate conduct of an employee be taken lightly.
