There was tragic news for fans of the popular TikToker, 36-year-old Candice Murley Marystown, it emerged this week after her death was announced.
The news was broken by her sister, Marsha McEvoy, when she set up a Go Fund Me to help cover the costs of a funeral for the creator, who often made posts featuring her singing, dancing and cooking.
At the time of writing, the page has raised over £9,800 thousand pounds ($17,000 Canadian).
She had seen her following build in the time up to her death. The social media star, known as 'Candi', leaves behind her husband Dave, and her son, Maxwell and cat Stash, the Mirror reports.
Who was Candi?
Candi was a popular TikTok creator who, at the time of her death, had over 20,000 followers and 30,000 likes on her videos.
Her videos often got tens of thousands of views and were known for being entertaining, varied and for showing her personality in an honest way.
In their Go Fund Me statement, Candi's family said: "We have received some news no one wants to hear, tonight we lost a huge part of our family, my sister Candice.
"This was very unexpected, and our hearts are torn apart. Candice was so full of life and always lived life her own way. She was full of energy and loved to dance & listen to her music; can't forget about her Bingo, oh how she loved her Bingo. But more than anything in his world she loved her Son & her family dearly, we also can't forget her cat Stash.
"Most people knew her as Candi – famous for her TikToks. She had a fan base like no other, she was entertainment at her best, with her dancing and her cooking, and let's not forget her scatter singing with her mic.

"Let's now look back at all her videos and keep them as our keepsakes to keep us smiling while we deal with this loss, she will be missed terribly by many."
The family also added they were not financially prepared for her death, which was why they were running the Go Fund Me.
How did Candice Murley Marystown die?
At the time of writing, no cause of death has been confirmed for Candice Murley Marystown.
Shortly before her death, she posted a series of videos that featured her lip-syncing the words to a song saying: "I hate it when the voices in my head go silent because then I don't know what those f****** are up to."
She also produced content featuring her cat and her talking about her Christmas presents prior to her death.
