Harry and Meghan may face ‘tense’ and ‘very awkward’ meeting with Wills and Kate
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will have a “very awkward” meeting with Prince William and Kate Middleton if they get together next year, a royal commentator has claimed.
The couples haven’t been seen together publicly since last year’s Commonwealth Day Service in March.
Meghan mouthed “hi” and gave a small wave to William and Kate as the pair sat down, with Harry also smiling at his brother.
Later on though, the Duke of Sussex appeared stern as he went through the church alongside his smiling wife.
Walking directly in front of them, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge seemed downcast as they followed The Queen down the aisle.
Before Harry and Meghan announced their departure from the Royal Family, rumours of a rift between the Fab Four had circulated.
Phil Dampier, author of Royally Suited: Harry and Meghan In Their Own Words, believes relations haven’t particularly improved.
He told The Sun Online: “I think it’s going to be very awkward if they do meet up.
“From what I am told the rift is not a lot better at the moment – they are not talking a lot.

“I think they will put on a united front for the unveiling of Diana’s statue and I’m sure they will put on a united front for the birthday celebrations but behind the scenes I think there’s going to be a lot of tension."
However, Harry and William reportedly exchanged Christmas gifts last month in an apparent easing of tensions.
Harry and Meghan supposedly bought their gifts from exclusive boutiques in Santa Barbara, California, where they moved to earlier this year.
