Have a peek inside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s £11 million California home

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shocked the world when they announced they were officially stepping down from royal duties in March 2020.

After sharing the news, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shifted to Canada for a few weeks, before travelling to the US. The couple have since bought themselves a family home in Montecito, Santa Barbara, California .

Since moving to Meghan's homeland, the couple's trips to the UK have been few and far between, which is likely to be due to Covid travel restrictions between the US and UK.

Now, having spent two Christmases in their £11 million Santa Barbara home, here's a look at the couple's life together with their children since settling in America.

When did Prince Harry and Meghan Markle move to America and buy their LA home?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to America just weeks after announcing they were stepping down as royals, in March 2020.

After first spending time in Vancouver, the couple moved to the US quickly to avoid getting stuck due to Covid travel and border restrictions.

By July 2020, the Sussexes had allegedly purchased the family home where they currently live, which is believed to have cost £11million.

The property, in Montecito, is approximately 100 miles away from Los Angeles and is thought to include an arcade and games room, a movie theatre, wine cellar, spa with two saunas as well as a garage that can store up to five cars.
