Meghan and Harry removed from official royal website before last engagement
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been removed from a section of the Royal Family’s official website, Daily Star Online has found.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were dropped from a section of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s page on the site over the weekend ahead of their final royal engagement today.
A paragraph on their page had previously described the Sussexes and Cambridges’ joint charity foundation – which Harry and Meghan split from in June 2019.
Despite the couples parting ways last summer, the Royal Family’s website continued to call it “The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex”.

But Daily Star Online has found that in the last week, all mention of Meghan and Harry – who will officially quit as senior royals on March 31 – in this section has been removed.
As of March 1, it read: “In addition to supporting charities and organisations, The Duchess of Cambridge, like her husband and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex is able to direct her own philanthropic work through The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
“The Royal Foundation develops programmes and charitable projects based on the interests of Their Royal Highnesses by working with organisations which are already making a proven impact in their respective fields.
"The Royal Foundation provides additional investment, mentoring, support and partnerships for these programmes, and lends its own profile and leverage to enhance the effect of their good work.”

This section is now, however, headlined “The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge”.
And the first paragraph now reads: “In addition to supporting charities and organisations, The Duchess of Cambridge, like her husband is able to direct her own philanthropic work through The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.”
The announcement of Harry and Meghan leaving the charitable foundation, which came amid long-running claims of a feud between the couples, came after the Sussexes announced their decision to move out of Kensington Palace last spring.
They announced they would be moving away from the Cambridges and into their new Frogmore Cottage home in the grounds of Windsor Castle, and that they would be moving their offices to Buckingham Palace.

But in January this year the couple dropped the bombshell announcement on Instagram that they would be stepping back from the Royal Family.
And in the following days and weeks, after meetings with Palace officials, they announced they would be quitting as senior royals – giving up their HRH titles and public funding in the process.
Now they are set to embark on their last ever royal engagement at the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey this afternoon alongside the Queen, Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince William and Kate.
They will then fly back to Canada where they will embark on their new life away from the Royal Family with their son Archie.
