The severe weather is likely to affect several regions in England, including the East, the East Midlands and Yorkshire and the Humber.

The Met Office has warned that the fog could cause travel disruption, saying that people should expect “slower journey times with delays to bus and train services possible”, adding that there is “a chance of delays or cancellations to flights”
