Mia Khalifa raises 10X more for charity on OnlyFans than she did in adult films
Ex-PornHub star Mia Khalifa said she raised over $10,000 (£7,195) for charity through her OnlyFans account, ten times the amount she was paid per video during her adult career.
Mia Khalifa ditched porn just three months after beginning her career when a video of her taking part in a sex act in a hijab went viral.
She has since made a name for herself as a sports presenter, model and now, OnlyFans star, where she posts pay-per-view pictures of herself in skimpy outfits.
The Lebanese star has been vocal about her time within porn, warning girls the industry "isn’t always sunshine and flowers."
Mia has also blasted the owners of adult film making firms, who she claims made millions off of her videos without paying her fairly.
In fact, Mia said she made just $12,000 (£8.6k) for about a dozen shoots over three months before she left the industry in early 2015, and never a "penny again."
The adult actress has proved she’s come out on top, however, regularly posting videos of charity donations to Instagram.

Her most recent donation saw her give $10,000 to For The Gworls, a charity that provides financial assistance to black transgender people to pay for gender-affirming surgeries or their rent.
Mia said she raised the money solely through her Only Fans account.
Taking a screenshot of the donation, Mia said: "Raised some money on OF for women’ stay and have been trying to find organisations to donate it to.
"I love what For The Gworls is doing, thank you for your work and to everyone who donated."

The amount is about ten times the sum Mia was paid for her work in pornography, and just $2,000 short of the total amount she made throughout her career.
In a 2019 tweet, she said: "People think I’m racking in millions from porn. Completely untrue.
"I made a TOTAL of around $12,000 in the industry and never saw a penny again after that. Difficulty finding a normal job after quitting porn was… scary."
