Princess Diana’s friend opens up about Megxit and feud between William and Harry
A close pal of Princess Diana has opened up on the explosive rift between Prince William and Harry.
Psychotherapist Julia Samuel – who met Diana at a dinner party in 1987 and is a godmother to Prince George – claimed Megxit shows the “complexity” of any normal family.
Her intervention come after the Queen told Harry he was “much loved and will always be welcomed back” in an emotional heart-to-heart at Windsor Castle.
Julia told ITV’s Lorraine show: “I think we all do know them in a way, from those young boys.
“I think what they show in public is what they’re like. So they're very authentic.

“I think they represent the complexity of families.
“Nobody has the perfect family and it’s not about not having disagreements, but talking about it and communicating about it, open families are the best.”
Julia became so close to Diana that the Princess of Wales would often collect her kids from school.
Meghan even hailed her in her engagement interview for helping her understand Harry.

Julia said of Diana: “She was amazing. She broke a lot of the stigma and taboo around mental health.

“I think that's one of the things, everyone who reads the book has their own difficulties but because we're not honest about them and we're not transparent, you think everyone else is coping.”
