William brings Kate a ‘gin and tonic’ after putting kids to bed, says friend
Kate Middleton enjoys a gin and tonic which doting husband Prince William brings her after putting the kids to bed, according to a pal.
While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge juggle their busy royal duties they prioritise their role as parents to Prince George, Louis, and Princess Charlotte.
But once the kids are tucked up in bed, they wind down with a beverage, says an insider.
A family friend told People: "William will bring Kate a gin-and-tonic.
"They look after each other, but in different ways."
In addition to supporting each other in their public work, they support each other at home, it seems.
Kate was "clearly really proud" of her husband William during his inaugural Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony in October, photography Chris Jackson previously said.
William also supported the Duchess recently as she hosted a Christmas Carol Concert at Westminster Abbey, to celebrate the heroes during the Covid pandemic.
The concert will be aired on ITV on Christmas Eve.
The royal pair are hands-on, say pals, from doing the school run to letting their kids argue over what songs should be played at breakfast time – with William revealing Louis and Charlotte are always fighting over the music.
A source added: "Kate likes to keep an ordinary life."
Kate and William, both aged 39, also take their kids on bike rides and to play on the beaches near their home Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
Kate is also said to 'run things at home' even with the help of nanny Maria Turrion Borrallo.
Kate is "more and more impressive as time goes on," says a source close to the royal household. "She is a focused and professional woman."
Recently the Cambridges shared their Christmas Card photo of the family, and it was a first for the royals.
Instead of autumn or festive focused shots, they released an image of the couple. and their children while they went on holiday to Jordan earlier this year.
William was seen next to Kate, with their hands on each other's knee, and Charlotte, 6, Louis, 3, and George, 8 by their side.
Many fans were convinced Charlotte resembled a likeness to another royal, while one expert claimed the future king of England had 'made waves' with his outfit choice.
